Link Selling Strategies

Everyone needs a good link selling strategy - here's my best advice.

Don’t forget about selling text links on the lower PR pages of your website. Many webmasters tend to sell links only on the home page and a few high PR pages. While these pages can bring in big money fast, they eventually fill up and your text link ad revenue stagnates.

This is where your secondary pages come in. I have seen websites with hundreds or thousands of PR1 – PR5 inside pages going to waste. The revenue you can make on these inside pages is as much or more as you can make on your main pages. For those who want to double text link ad revenue, here is a simple link sales strategy to follow:

** Sell individual link placements on the home page and your website’s high PR inside pages.

** At the same time, start selling packages of links on your website's secondary pages. For example a package of 3 PR5s, 2 PR4s and 5 PR3s could easily bring you $50 to $75 per month.

** Get creative: If you have two or three websites, offer something like 3 PR5s on 3 different different sites. Buyers love a nice package that offers links on multiple sites.

Double Your Text Link Sales Revenue
The main thing to remember is don’t stop when you sell out your heavy hitter pages. Your secondary level pages should eventually start bringing in at as much text link revenue as your main pages. Of course as your volume of link sales increases you will need to make sure you have a great link placement and tracking system in place to keep your overall workload down.

If you sell links, following my simple link selling strategy can turn a $4,000 per month in text link ad revenue into $8,000 in monthly link revenue within a year. The best part is, if you use LinkAdage Auctions just about all that money goes in your pocket except our small 8-10% fee for the first month link price.
